Football has been a passion of mine since childhood. I grew up immersed in the game—whether it was playing, watching matches, going on stadium tours, or spending hours on games like Championship Manager and Football Manager. Like many, I once dreamed of becoming a professional footballer. While that path has evolved over time, my passion for being involved in the sport has never changed. Today, whether it’s through coaching, scouting, or creating opportunities for others, I’m driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the football community. I’ve now found my ideal space with the Football Vacancies platform, where I can help connect people with roles in the game and contribute to its growth in a way that truly aligns with my strengths and interests.

I started Football Vacancies because I noticed a gap—there wasn’t a consistent, reliable source sharing football-related job opportunities. While I’ve since seen other pages begin posting vacancies, which is a great sign of growth and support within the football community, I wanted to create a dedicated platform that people could depend on regularly. My initial inspiration came from a page called Pro Football Trials (PFTrials), which has been consistently posting trial opportunities for years. Seeing the impact they were making motivated me to build something similar, but focused specifically on job roles within the football industry. The goal was, and still is, to help more people break into the game and stay connected to it professionally.

Grassroots football has always held a special place for me. One of my earliest memories is attending a friendly between Arsenal and Barnet at the old Underhill Stadium. The atmosphere was completely different from a Premier League ground—it had a traditional, authentic feel that really stuck with me. Since then, I’ve followed the lower leagues closely and even invested in a football start-up, Dial Square FC. I’ve always believed that the heart of football lives at the grassroots level.

My passion for football and helping others is what drives me every day. Knowing that the content I share is genuinely making a difference keeps me motivated, especially when I receive messages from people who’ve landed roles they wouldn’t have found without the page. I’ve also had great feedback from clubs thanking me for sharing their vacancies and content, which makes the work feel even more rewarding.

One of my proudest moments has been gaining recognition from clubs in the Vanarama National League, some of whom now follow the page. I’ve also had the opportunity to collaborate with well-known clubs through joint posts, which has helped raise the profile of Football Vacancies and shown that the platform is being taken seriously within the football community.

In 2025, I plan to: Expand collaboration posts with clubs and football organisations Build stronger, lasting relationships within the football community Maintain consistency in posting quality content and opportunities My focus is on steady growth, impact, and continuing to serve the community with valuable, career-changing content.

My main goal is to establish Football Vacancies as a trusted, go-to platform for anyone looking for roles in football, whether that’s at grassroots level or higher up the pyramid.
